This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, solicitation number RFQ-NP-08-00-831. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This requirement is for four line items as follows: Line Item 001- Quantity 5 DS300S155SU Sensor with 3 inch 150#FLG SS, Std ; Line Item 002 Quantity 5 RFT9739E4SUJ Transmitter, 85-250V Nema 4X, Line Item 003 Quantity 5 CFEPJ1A010, Cable, Fep Unshielded 10 Ft., Line Item 004 Quantity 5 DMS1RS0CSN DRT/DMS net volume computer. Resulting contract will be for Mass Flow meters sensors to be used for precise measurement for loads of fire retardant on Forest Service contracted airtankers. The Micro Motion, Inc. Model D-300-SS is the only meter approved for use per SDTDC 9751-1206 dated April 1997. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items include the following evaluation criteria; Technical capability, past performance (including timely deliveries), and price; these criteria are listed in descending order of importance. FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders Commercial Items; which include the following paragraphs of the clause (b)(1), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (17)(ii), (19), (23), (24) and (c)(1)(2)(4). OFFERORS SHALL PROVIDE COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractor's DUNS Number with their quote.
