Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) seeks interested parties to commercialize an intellectual property portfolio of inventions pertaining to applications and methods for its millimeter wave holographic imaging technology. PNNL researchers have developed technology that can be used to obtain very accurate and complete body measurements. This system uses very low power millimeter waves or microwaves (radar signals) to illuminate the person being measured. The radar signals readily penetrate clothing material and reflect off the human body. This innovative technolgy incorporates radar cylindrical holographic techniques that were invented at PNNL with a new combined imaging algorithm to rapidly obtain complete body measurements while the subject remains in his or her street attire.
