This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, Number F02604-00-T0398 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. This acquisition is set aside for 100% small businesses; SIC: 3448, number of employees: 500. This acquisition is a brand name or equal requirement as identified in the schedule of items. SCHEDULE OF ITEMS: Dismantle and remove existing 10_ x 20_ modular structure to include all debris. Replace with new single story modular structure, Allied Modular Building System_s part number # I-91232 or equal, 12_ wide x 32_ long with three (3) separate offices, 4_ thick walls, data and phone jacks,air conditioning, fire suppression system (H20 sprinklers), floor tile, and load bearing roof with OSHA approved safety rail with six foot (6_) lift-out gate for easy access. All electrical and sprinklers shall be installed _ready to connect_. Water line shall be 1 14_ with power of 175 PSI. See attached drawings for further detail on placement of doors, windows, 110V outlets, etc. New structure shall include two (2) each air conditioning units and six (6) each 40_ x 48_ windows which may be salvaged from the existing structure. New structure shall use F32T8 light fixtures with lamps and energy saving electronic ballast. All materials and workmanship must comply with current NFPA 70, National Electric Code; USAF AFCESA Engineering Technical Letters 98-7, 98-8, and 99-4; Luke AFB Instruction 32-2001; USAF Instruction 32-2001; and all OSHA requirements. Offerors shall include all descriptive literature necessary to evaluate manufacturer compliance with specifications and applicable code.
