The NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER-AIRCRAFT DIVISION, St. Inigoes, MD, intends to issue a sole source, IDIQ, FFP contract to Harris Corporation, 1025 NASA Boulevard, Melbourne, FL 32919-001, for the procurement of Commercial Items including AN/PRC-117 Family Multi-mode, Multi-mission Radios with HAVEQUICK II ECCM capability, AN/VRC-94 Family (less R/T) Vehicular Mount Systems, and AN/PRC-138 HF/VHF Manpack Family Radio Sets with SINCGARS ECCM / high speed HF modem capability, and required ancillary devices. The supplies are required to support various programs including the U.S. Marine Corps Air Surveillance and Precision Approach Radio Control System (ASPARCS) Operations Subsystem /Communications Subsystem (OS/CS) Program, U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Joint Base Station (JBS) Program, and other Non-DoD Projects and Programs. The Period of Performance for the proposed contract is a 12-month base period with two (2) twelve-month option periods. The RFP release date is 09/11/00; the response due deadline is 09/15/00. The Harris Corporation has sole ownership of the Technical Data Rights to the required AN/PRC-117 and AN/PRC-138 Series Radios and is capable of meeting the form, fit, function and interchangeability requirements necessary to maintain current system configuration.
