The proposed contract action is for equipment which the Government intends to procure on a sole source basis. No solicitation will be issued. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has a requirement to purchase Qualtron, Inc's EMIDS Sensor System (P/N 13D0216-P1) to ensure continuity and consistency with existing equipment. This is specialized "Tracker Training" and border sensor equipment. Firms wishing to be considered for this effort must furnish clear and convincing documentation of their qualifications and/or capabilities to provide comparable equipment. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. If no affirmative written replies are received within a five (5) day period of the posting of this publication, an award will be issued to Qualtron, Inc.
