The Regional Contracting Department Pearl Harbor Hawaii intends to award an unrestricted contract for commercial services/supplies in accordance with FAR Part 12 using FAR Part 13.5 simplified acquisition procedures. The written request for quotation (RFQ) is expected to be posted on the web site about 07 September 2000 and an award is anticipated no later than 30 September 2000. This is a web-posted solicitation and shall be downloaded from our web-site at (http://www.cic.pearl.fisc.navy.mil/fisc/owa/opportunities.start_page) and is considered the official web-site for this RFQ. For reference, the solicitation is also posted to the NECO web site (http://www.neco.navy.mil/search_edi.cfm but may not be complete in content. Subsequent amendments to the quotation, if any, will only be promulgated via the FISCPH web page. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced web page early and periodically for any quotation amendments. Because this is a web-based quotation, a Bidders Mailing list will not be maintained. The Government web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offerors inability to access the document posted on the referenced web page. All contractors must also be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database at (https://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil). The requirements are as follows: Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001 Nitrogen Gas, Technical BB-N-411C, Type 1, Grade B, Class 1.99.50% pure, oil free. Quantity: 49,680 CF. CLIN 0002 Argon Gas, Technical, oil free, MIL-A-18455C, Type 1. Quantity: 98,500 CF. The Government provides the cylinders. Delivery is FOB Destination, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and required within 30 days ARO. Empty cylinders shall be refilled, serviced (if necessary), and inspected IAW the contract specifications and returned within 15 days of pickup. The FSC Code is 6830. The SIC code and small business size standard is 2813 and 1,000 employees respectively. The Government will award a contract resulting from this quotation to the responsible offeror whose quotation conforming to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
