The FHWA intends to modify Contract No. DTFH61-95-C-00125, with ITT Industries, Inc. to complete the validation and calibration of the TRAF family of models. The additional level of effort planned is for the continuation and completion of the development of the TRAF software program Traffic Software Integrated System (TSIS) that will result in the release of a working version of TSIS Release 5.0 package of software applications. Also planned is the preparation and completion of appropriate user and maintenance manuals coordinated with support from the Traffic Research Laboratory (TReL). Additional level of effort is also planned for the Databases for Assessment of Operational Tests and Traffic Models for Adaptive Control Systems (ACS) field operational tests in Chicago.
