Dastis, Contract Specialist, (732) 323-7339 The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, (NAWCADLKE) intends to issue on a sole source basis, a Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) with AAI/ACL Technologies, Brea, CA for the Repair of Repairables (ROR) in support of the Hydraulic Test Stand, P/N HCT-12. The absence of Navy organic depot support, and critical mission requirement, makes it imperative to procure product support from AAI/ACL Technologies for the commercial repair/maintenance of the equipment listed above. The need for this ROR is to provide the Navy with a means to establish a prompt turn-around repair for the equipment needed to satisfy the F-14 aircraft mission. The Government intends to negotiate this BOA under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, software or other specifications to permit full and open competition. AAI/ACL Technologies is the sole designer, developer, and original equipment manufacturer of the repairable. Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-00-R-0472. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation package will be available. This synopsis covers any and all orders issued under the BOA.
