The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) through the Program Support Center, General Acquisitions Branch intends to award a sole source Simplified Acquisition to AVANCE, Inc. to provide comprehensive training and technical assistance re: "Hablemos en Confianza" materials, with a focus on building parenting skills. The Contractor will work with 10 community-based family support sites in Texas and Kansas City. Electronic files of selected parenting resources for Hispanic/Latino populations, will be provided to SAMHSA. AVANCE played a critical role in the development of the "Hablemos en Confianza" materials and will use their experience in working with program sites in completing a number of Hispanic/Latino Intiative questionaires in a timely manner.
