The Navy has a requirement for Engineering and Technical Support Services for Improvement of Satellite Communications. The requirement includes satellite communications design (systems and software engineering), field support, quality assurance, hardware design and development, and data management. The proposed contract will be an indefinite quantity contract. Multiple awards are contemplated. The type of contract will be a cost plus fixed fee pricing arrangement for a base period of one year, and to include four one-year options. The estimated level of effort for the total requirement is 1,834,455 man-hours spread equally over the five years. The applicable standard industrial code (SIC) and size standard is 7379, $18M; however, this requirement is unrestricted.
