Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE) intends to procure three (3) Weapon Skids P/N 1500AS100-1. Required delivery is 15 December 2000. The required item is a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Non-Developmental-Item (NDI) used in support of Organizational Level maintenance. The Weapon Skid supports the ramp during removal and installation and to transport the ramp to off aircraft maintenance sites. The Weapon Skid is fitted with a set of Aero 58A Weapon Skid adapters and a 2483105 Weapon Skid adapter "platform" to make a complete assembly. The P/N 1500AS100-1 Weapon Skid is a transporter with 14" tall tires and a deadman brake. Mounting rails are 10" apart (front) and 15"apart (rear) allowing attachment of various adapters. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price type contract. All Weapon Skids will be packaged in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ. The Government intends to procure as a Small Business Set Aside. Small Business Set-Aside SIC Codes 3728 & 3499 are applicable. Hard copy of solicitations and amendments will NOT be mailed to contractors.
