Description
The 30 CONS/LGCB, 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA 93437 is issuing this synopsis for a one(1) year, Firm Fixed Price, Service/Supply Contract to include four(4) optional one(1) year contracts to be renewed annually at the discretion of the government for the following: Contractor to supply and maintain four solvent cleaning tanks. 1) 2 qty, cleaning tanks of dimensions at least 33"X22"X20" to include a stand to bring it to at least 56". A 20-30 gallon cleaning solvent capacity is required. One is required for BLDG 21155 and one is required for BLDG 1900. Safety Kleen model number 34 or equivalent. 2) 1 qty, cleaning tank of dimensions at least 51"X37"X69". A 70 gallon cleaning solvent capacity is required. Tank will have an air powered lift for the lid with a fusible link in case of fire. Tank will have air powered metal cleaning tray that would raise and lower to allow for easy access to place parts to be cleaned and also to remove cleaned hardware. Tank must have air agitation system that will assist the cleaning process and have a "solvent flow through brush". This tank is required for BLDG 9320. Safety Kleen Model number 81 or equivalent. 3) 1 qty, "Paint Spray Gun and Equipment Cleaning System". Tank must be air powered and have approx. 16 gallon cleaning solvent capacity. Tank must be at least 42" high. Tank is required for BLDG 9327. Safety Kleen Model number 1107 or equivalent. All tanks will require: metal sheet-cleaning tray over the solvent, a fusible link on the hinged lid in case of fire and to control fumes, a 115V 60Hz pump that flows solvent through a cleaning brush. Tanks will be serviced every eight(8) weeks and have remaining solvent removed and replaced with new. Contractor will be responsible for removing, disposing, and refilling the tanks. The services shall be performed during the base year and option years if exercised. The solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) parts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. The solicitation number is F04684-01-QV016 and is issued as a request for quotation. This acquisition is set-aside for small business and is subject to the availability of FY 01 funds. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), which will replace SIC as of 01 Oct 00, is 81131. There currently is no Standard Industrial Code (SIC) to represent this work. SIC codes will no longer be used after 30 Sep 00. All interested parties must provide a written quote, mailed or faxed (805-606-5867) containing pricing for the base year and the four(4) option years. The period of performance is 01 October 2000 to 30 September 2001 for the base year. Questions will be taken no later than 4:00 p.m. on 01 Sept 00.
