Description

Project is for main unit circuit breakers, system replacement, Federal Columbia River Power System, North Pacific Division. Project consists of retrofitting existing station class and metal-clad class circuit breakers with SF6 or vacuum breaker mechanisms and replacing 115KV oil circuit breakers with complete new SF6 breakers as appropriate. Breakers will be sized according to continuous and short circuit current requirement but, wherever practical, selections will be made to facilitate inter- and intra-plant parts replacements. Proposed procurement will result in a one year, fixed priced indefinite delivery contract with the option to extend for four additional years, with delivery orders issued as requirements arise. Contract will be for Not To Exceed $10,000,000 per year with a total contract value of Not To Exceed $50,000,000. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on CD-Rom format only. Disks will be available on or about 19 September 2000 at no charge per set, issued on a first come, first served basis. No phone requests accepted. Firms desiring a copy of the RFP must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ Plans and specs may be picked up from the Plans Room Monday thru Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3613. Project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $500,000 you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan.
