Description

The government intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for Teruflex CPD/OPTISOL triple blood bags, weld integrity kits, and sterile dock wafers as required by the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth, Virginia through other than full and open competition with Terumo Medical Corporation Transfusion Products Division of Somerset, New Jersey. The contract will be awarded for one base year and will contain provisions for four one-year option periods. This procurement will be sole source and conducted in accordance with the policies and procedures outlined in the Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 13.5 test program for the simplified acquisition of commercial items. The SIC code is 3841.
