See Notes 1 & 22. This announcement is for information purposes only and will be made on a sole source basis by 2:00 pm on 9/14/00. This award is a planned solicitation under the simplified acquisition process. The Food and Drug Administration [FDA], Center for Food Safetu & Applied Nurition [CFSAN], intends to award a sole source purchase order to Charm Sciences, Malden, MA., for 45 LF -- Quinec -- 50 Quinolons Rosa Test Kits and 50 LF -- INC2 -- 856 Rosa Incubators with distribution to 50 labs for the Agency's National Drug Residue Milk Monitoring Program. This procurement will be awarded as a simplifed acquisition in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The following provision also applies to this acqusition: 52.232.33 Mandatory Informatoin Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
