Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to award a purchase order to IISI, Ltd for the acquisition of an Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) . The Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) requires an AFIS workstation to electronically acquire, analyze, transmit and search the FBI's Integrated AFIS (IAFIS) system, and archive latent fingerprint and associated evidentiary images. The workstation, consisting of six primary subsystem components, must acquire scanned images, permit extensive pre-processing and image analysis, include a secured archival system and print high-resolution, photographic quality, digital images directly from original evidence and other formats, e.g., photographic film, negative, transmission files, etc. Delivery terms are FOB Destination. Vendors who can provide the required services at prices, terms and conditions equal to or better than those which can be provided by IISI, Ltd. should submit clear and convincing data in writing substantiating an ability to furnish the entire requirement. Responses to this notice must be received by this office within 5 days of the date of publication of this synopsis.
