Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number, USZA99-00-Q-0096, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses ae those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This procurement is unrestricted. All responses from responsible sources will be fully considered. This action is for Cabinet and Column supported mezzanine material requied to construct (1) 392 sq ft. mezzanine with an open bar grate desk surface having a height of 8'-7.41" above finished floor with an underclearance of 7'-8.28" and a uniform load capacity of 150 PSF. System includes all required handrails, toeplates, support columns, stairway, and six personnel cages on mezzanine level. One lot mezzanine lighting package material to include (12) 48" low profile fluorescent light fixtures and complete interconnecting wiring for mezzanine. Request bid pricing be submitted using a combination of GSA contracts and open market items. Thirty five various size cabinets. Solicitation Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (June 1999), Solicitation Provisions FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), Contractors are reminded to submit a complete copy of provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 1999) with their quote. The Defense priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) assigned rating for this procurement is unrated.
