Description

This is a MODIFICATION to Solicitation Number: DAHA50-00-T-0002 to purchase NEW 20' Containers as follows: The quantity is now 11. The description specification/work statement should read as follows: The contractor shall furnish eleven (11) NEW ISO containers to be utilized in military exercises. Containers shall be made from a suitable material, which satisfactorily performs without permanent deformation or abnormality. Each container furnished shall be in good quality and in safe operating condition. If the government Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or coordianator determines that any container(s) furnished are not in compliance with the contract, the government reserves the right to cancel the order or a replacement shall be required at no additional cost to the government. The ISO containers shall meet all the minimum salient characteristics as stated below: Minimum salient features: Length 20'; Width 8'; Height 8'6"; Double Door at the Width end of container 7' high; Interior cube 1070 cubic feet; Exterior cube 1280 cubic feet; Stacking capacity 6' max; Tare Weight 4,700 pounds (2,232 kg); Gross weight 44,800 pounds (20,321 kg) and must be able to utilize containers for shipping purposes. Safety requirements: Containers shall meet all safety requirements and have a valid International Convensior for Safety Containers (CSC) approval plate. Delivery is still FOB destination to S4, HQ, 29th Support Battalion, Kalaeloa. Proposal date has been extended to 12 Sept 2000 no later than 3:00 p.m. HST.
