Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) plans to issue a modification to Contract DSWA01-95-C-0133, extending the contract period of performance from 30 September 2000 to 30 November 2000 and providing additional funding to cover support requirements during this 60-day extension. The contract extension will provide continued support while a follow-on competitive contract is being awarded. Under the extension to the current contract, Jaycor, Inc. will continue to manage the Nuclear Test Personnel Review (NTPR). Based on the contractor's expertise and recent experience with managing the program, DTRA believes Jaycor, Inc. is the only contractor capable of providing ongoing programmatic support functions and meeting varied and complex technical requirements within time and budgetary constraints for this interim period. See Note 22. Any other firm desiring consideration must fully identify its capability to perform these functions within the very brief time extension covered by this requirement.
