Description

Services of an Architect-Engineer firm are requested to provide services including but not limited to preparation of construction bid documents (drawings & specifications), construction estimate, as-built drawings, construction period services, site visits and reproduction of bid documents. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of steam lines, steam line supports, insulation, valves, traps, expansion joints, etc., and replacement of sections of deteriorated steam tunnel walls and tops. Completion time 180 calendar days. Estimated construction cost range between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Area of consideration is restricted to firms within the State of Iowa. Award subject to availability of funds. Interested firms submit appropriate data described in numbered Notes 24 and 25 no later than September 29, 2000. This is not a request for proposal.
