- Description
- This notice constitutes Amendment 01 for combined synopsis/solicitation GS-04P-00-RDC-0026. The purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to the following questions. (1) Q -- What is the number of batteries to be removed and replaced? A -- 192 (2) Q -- What is the model number? A -- Exide Model DD (3) Q -- Wet or sealed cells? A -- Sealed (4) Q -- Are the batteries on racks or in cabinets? A -- In racks (5) Q -- What type and how many modules are in rooms 311 and 358? A -- The modules in rooms 311 and 358 are annunciator panels that show the status of the UPS system. The panels are approximately 18 inches by 12 inches. (6) Q -- Is a preventative maintenance plan required? A -- Yes. (7) Q -- Who is responsible for disposal of the batteries? A -- The successful offeror. (8) Q -- Who is responsible for the purchase of new batteries? A -- The successful offeror. (9) Q -- Please verify the 135KVA and the 430 volt rating? A -- 135KVA -- 430 volts -- 3 phase. The deadline for receipt of proposals is extended to September 6, 2000, 12:00pm (Eastern Time).
