- Issue Date: 09/12/00. Solicitation number DTCGG1-00-B-3WK002, posted on 8/14/2000, is hereby changed to DTCGG1-01-Q-3WK002. This solicitation will be issued as a commercial item services project utilizing simplified acquistion procedures. Solicitation will be available on 9/12/00, and offers are required no later than 10/12/00. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary for the upgrade of the sand blast/paint booth, Bldg. 14, USCG ISC Boston, MA (Suffolk County). The work includes, but is not limited to, removing various worn items from the existing abrasive blast/paint booth and installing new items in their place, removing existing filter racks, installing deeper filter racks, and fabricating and installing filter cover plates, and provide training on proper maintenance of installed components and misc. related work. The existing blast/paint booth was built as a turn-key operation by Wheel-Abbrator Frye. To ensure all equipment will function as orginally designed, the worn parts shall be replaced with parts manufactured by the original equipment manufacturer. NAIC code is 811310, $5 Million.
