Event #152: 2000 Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) -Advanced Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) The 2000 Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) -- Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) will be held on October 23-25, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn in Dearborn, Michigan. The theme for this year's conference is "Partnering for the Army's Transformation." The army is in the mists of transformation involving becoming a more mobile and efficient force and this year's theme is in keeping with that transformation. Several key leaders and managers from TACOM will attend. This annual briefing to industry will give a look ahead to the Army's new requirements for the coming year.
