Description

The MEDCOM Contracting Center at Fort Sam Houston intends to negotiate a sole source firm-fixed price indefinite quantity contract with George Washington University. The requirement is for miltary trained medical laboratory technicians to have 60 semester hours from an accredited college or universtiy. The 60 semester hour requirement is for all military laboratory training program, and is required to comply with Public Law 100-578. The 52 week military laboratory training program is equivalent to an Associate Degree and is the basic training requirement for military laboratory personnel. The contract period of performance is estimated to be for a base period of 01 OCT 00 through 30 SEPT 01 with four 1 year options. Any responsible sources who can provide this service should respond in writing and provide substantive descriptive literature containing sufficient technical information for evaluation. Responses must be received in writing by this office within 30 Calendar Days of publication of this notice. If no affirmative written responses to this notice are received, a contract may be awarded to the above referenced University without further notice. See Note 22.****
