Description

Contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, parts, equipment and supervision as necessary to perform the following on the Bronx VA Medical Center's main generators, which are two 2500KVA GM Electro-Motive Division Model 16-645E4 generators: replace both governors (one for each generator); replace sychronizer; replace both day tanks; replace both voltage regulators; replace both actuators; replace all related controls and make all necessary wiring connections from the engine to the switchgear; and interface controls with existing power monitoring system. Contractor personnel must be trained on the same manufacturer and model and shall have at least 5 years expperience repairing these generators. All work shall be completed as per contract plans and specifications. Estimated construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. Request must be in writing accompanied by a nonrefundable certified check or money order made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs in the amount of $50.00. NO RESPONSE will be made to reqeusts via fax or telephoone. Solicitation pkgs are limited in number and will be issued on a first come, first serve basis.
