Description

Project consists of the placement of 2,125 linear feet of bank protection consisting of a minimum 12" thick layer of Indiana Revetment stone over a 6" bedding layer of Indiana #53 stone. This stone is to provide protection to an existing locally-owned and operated railroad track along the Indiana bank of the Ohio River between the cities of Tell City and Troy. Minor upper bank excavation will be utilized in some areas to reduce the amount of stone required to produce a uniform slope. Other project features include the construction of toe protection and end protection as well as seeding of disturbed areas. Solicitation will be available O/A 12 September 2000 and Bid Opening Date is 12 October 2000 at 2:00 PM EST. This project is available on CD only. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package.
