Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport, has a requirement for material, labor and facilities to fabricate one (1) NSSN Class Window Drill Fixture (Sub) per drawing 6991311 and (1) NSSN Class Window Drill Window per drawing 6991312, both provided as Government Furnished Information (GFI). The Sub Sail Drill Jigs requested by this action will be used to insure sail sonar window interchangeability on the SSN 774 series. As part of this task, the contractor shall supply full inspection reports, including calibration certification of inspection devices in accordance with CDRL's A0001 and A0002. The work to be performed under this requirement is at the Contractor's facility. Text files will be available on disk/or transferred electronically at vendor's request. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination, Newport, RI on or about 30 Nov 00. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the government. Telephone requests will not be honored. The government intends to award a single contract on a Firm Fixed Price basis using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The SIC Code for this procurement is 3499.
