Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number FA4416-00-T0576 is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a 100 % small business set-aside. The SIC code is 3559. The size standard is 500 employees. The contractor shall furnish and install a replacement Diesel Engine that drives the Main Fire Pump-Fire Suppression System as follows: (Item 01) Cummins Model 6BTA5.9-F1 Fire pump engine package with instrument panel block heater and heat exchanger. (Item 02) Install unit at Andrews Air Force Base MD. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to offers -- Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items is applicable, Offerors shall include with their offers, a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items is applicable. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders -- Commercial Items is applicable and the following clauses are checked: 52.232.33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer- Central Contractor Registration and 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended (41 U.S.C. 352, et seq.).
