Description: The Contracting Office, Scott AFB IL, intends on making a sole source procurement to Remotec, Inc. to purchase one (1) Hazardous-Duty Robot System for use in investigation, transportation, and safeguarding of hazardous explosive and terrorist devices. System must be compatible with current tools and systems used by other military Explosive Ordinance Disposal units and be approved for use by the Non Nuclear Munitions Safety Board. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within the 15-day closing period of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
