Description

Background "This requirement is for a Yula Corporation Model # WCV-4M- 186BS Heat Exchanger or approved equal with the following salient characteristics: Shall conform to the latest requirements of TEMA Standards Class R; Shall conform to Section VIII, Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code; All materials in contact with the test fuel shall be 304L stainless steel; Shall be removable tube bundle type for easy access to tubes and shell during inspection and cleaning; Shall use non-asbestos gaskets suitable for the design conditions; Bolt holes on all flanges shall straddle the center lines; Shall be in accordance with the following design pressures and temperatures: Working Pressure (psig) SHELL SIDE -- 200 TUBE SIDE -- 1,500, Design Pressure (psig) SHELL SIDE -- 250 TUBE SIDE -- 1,550, Capacity SHELL SIDE -- 28,750 pounds per hour TUBE SIDE -- 550 gallons per minute, Inlet Temperature (degrees F) SHELL SIDE -- 387.5 TUBE SIDE -- 85, Discharge Temperature (degrees F) SHELL SIDE -- 210 TUBE SIDE -- 350, Fluid SHELL SIDE -- Saturated Steam TUBE SIDE -- JP-4, Maximum allowable pressure drop (pounds per square inch) SHELL SIDE -- 5 TUBE SIDE -- 5, Number of Passes SHELL SIDE -- 1 TUBE SIDE -- 4, Specific Gravity SHELL SIDE -- .918 TUBE SIDE -- .703, Liquid viscosity SHELL SIDE -- .126 centipoise TUBE SIDE -- .4 centipoise, Specific Heat-Liquids SHELL SIDE -- 1.032 BTUs per pound TUBE SIDE -- .573 BTUs per pound, Fouling Factor SHELL SIDE -- No less than .0005 TUBE SIDE -- No less than .0005, Inlet SHELL SIDE -- 6"" -- 300# ANSI Flange TUBE SIDE -- 6"" -- 900# ANSI Ring Joint Flange, Outlet SHELL SIDE -- 6"" -300# ANSI Flange TUBE SIDE -- 6"" -- 900# ANSI Ring Joint Flange.
