- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19 (25 Aug 2000) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 Edition, current to DCN 20000817. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3612 with a size standard of 750 employees. The quote shall consist of Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 0001, quantity of three (3) each, DC Power Supply System, P/N 100A21T50P. This system will be used for the Range Digital Transmission System (RDTS) communication sites at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona. These systems are made up of various electrical manufacturer parts and must be compatible with the existing power systems currently installed and in use at USAYPG. This requirement includes on-site integration and installation. The required parts are: 1000 Ampere hour, GNB batteries Model 100A21, 24 cells; Power Conversion Products (PCP), 48 Vdc, 400 Amp Power System; GNB Intelligent Monitoring System, PCP 48 Vdc/240 Vac, 3-Phase, 5KVA; Marconi -- SFT2 Redundant 50VA Ring Generator and; five (5) each 50 AMP Breakers with installation kits and Mechanical Lug. All quotes shall be clearly marked with the solicitation number DAAD01-00-T-0024 and and e-mailed to Lina.Franks@yuma-exch1.army.mil no later than, 3:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST), September 13, 2000. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information as required by 52.212-1 cited below or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 "Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items" (Mar 2000). NOTE: In order to complete the Representation and Certifications for the following referenced provisions you must go to the Air Force Web Site at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/VFFAR1.HTM, locate the referenced clause, copy and paste it to a Word document and complete. FAR provision 52.212-3, "Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items" (Feb 2000) and DFARS 52.212-7000 "Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items" (Nov 1995) apply to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-4, "Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items" (May 1999) applies to this acquisition, and specifically addendum 52.247-34 "F.o.b Destination (Nov 1991)".
