Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR PART 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. N49399-00-T-0027 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 3823 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500. The successful contractor shall supply FOB Destination to the Receiving Officer, Building 493, Naval Submarine Base, Supply Operations NLON, Groton, CT. 06349-5500, on or about 30 September 1999. Infrared Portable Imaging Radiometers with 17.5 DEGREE FOV(FIELD OF VIEW)(20MM) LENS AND CAP IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: Detector: 100 to 120 element linear array of uncooled thermoelectric detectors, 40 -- 60um square pixels System Dynamic Range: 12 bits usable w/digitizing resolution of 16 bits Field of View: Approximately 17.2 degrees horizontal and 17.2 degrees vertical Lens: Germanium 20mm, F/0.8, focus 10" to infinity Spectral Band: 8um to 12um, anti-reflection coated Germanium optics Accuracy: +/- 2degs C. or 2% of reading Measurement Temp: 0-350 deg C. The camera's options shall include all of the following: Heavy Duty Carrying Case with foam cutout Camcorder Battery Battery Charger Video Cable, 12 ft 4MB ATA Flash Card Padded Neck and Hand Straps SnapView image analysis tool for Windows 95/98/NT CD-ROM w/User Manual Camera User Manual Standard Calibration: 0-+350C The following optional accessories shall be included: (2) Parallel Port Desktop PC Card Reader/Writers (2) Extra Camcorder Batteries Must include a one-time training session and the installation of the software on no less than two computer systems. Provide equipment specifications with quote. The Government will award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror which is the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
