Description

The Naval Hospital, MCAS, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for various medical grade gases as stated below. The period of performance will be 01 October 2000 thru 30 September 2001 with provision for four (4) twelve-month option periods. Item 0001, oxygen MDCL HP-D, qty 900, estimated monthly usage is 75 cylinders. Item 0002, oxygen MDCL HP-E, qty 180, estimated monthly usage is 15 cylinders. Item 0003, nitrogen MDCL HP-E, qty 48, estimated monthly usage is 4 cylinders. Item 0004, carbon dioxide MDCL HP-E, qty 36, estimated monthly usage is 3 cylinders. Item 0005, nitrous oxide MDCL HP-E, qty 12, estimated monthly usage is 1 cylinder. Item 0006, nitrous oxide MDCL HL-020 Jumbo, qty 6, estimated monthly usage is 1 every two months. Item 0007, oxygen MDCL HP-D Jumbo, qty 144, estimated monthly usage is 12 cylinders. Item 0008, air MDCL HP-060 Jumbo, qty 12, estimated monthly usage is 1 cylinder. Item 0009, oxygen MDCL HP-060 Jumbo, qty 12, estimated monthly usage is 1 cylinder. Item 0010, oxygen MDCL HP-C, qty 144, estimated monthly usage is 12 cylinders. The option year periods will have the same items and quantities as items 0001 through 0010. Note: The rental cost of the cylinders must be included in the cost per cylinder. A government representative will be responsible for the exchange of empty tanks and will call on Tuesday of every week or as deemed necessary by the hospital to order what is needed. Available gas level will not fall below half of the available tanks. There will be a two-week turn around time to get cylinders back. Cylinders will be delivered to Naval Hospital, Beaufort Road, Building 4389, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The government intends to solicit Holox Ltd, Greenville, NC on a sole source basis; however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
