Description

This is a combined synopsis/quotation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only quotation, and therefore, a formal written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions/clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The Television-Audio support Activity intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Blue ICE, Waltham, MA for the following items: 1) Four (4) kit part number ICE5014, Avid on ICE Ultra Special Effects Hardware and Software Package f/u/w Mac-based Avid Express and Media Composer non-linear editing Systems, 2) one (1) each part number ICE5004, Blue Ice SDI 2.0 Video Processing Hardware f/u/w Macintosh-based graphics production system, 3) one (1) each part number ICE5016, Basic Blue Ice for AfterEffects software f/u/w Macintosh-based graphics production system, and 4) one (1) each part number ICE 5010, Ultra UPG for Blue Ice hardware f/u/w Macintosh-based graphics production system. Standard commercial warranty is required. Delivery shall be FOB destination to American Forces Information Service, Alexandria, VA within 60 days from date of award. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Responses to this notice should be provided in writing by 07 Sep 00, 1300 PST. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The evaluation criteria for this quotation will consist of technical capability of the item offered to meet the agency need, price, and past performance. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with their offer. Clauses at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, 52.233-4001, Agency Protests, and the following sub-clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.202-1, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-33.
