The amendment to the solicitation for VisiCom MMI-4311 DSP Cards -- Quantity 20 -- is to clarify the Government's intent to award as a sole source has been changed to a full and open competition. The NAWCTSD is soliciting quotations for the following specification and requirement: VisiCom MMI-4311 VME based Digital Signal Processing Cards (single processor) brand name that meet form, fit and function (quantity of 20). It is to be used with the improved Battle Force Tactic Training (BFTT); therefore, it should not mandate any modification to the existing software (application). Delivery is to be made FOB Destination to: Navy Air Warfare Center -- Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) at 12350 Research Parkway, Orlando, Florida 32826-3224 by 90 days after award.AS A RESULT OF THESE CHANGES, THE RESPONSE DATE IS EXTENDED TO 2:00PM SEPTEMBER 14, 2000. ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF THIS COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION REMAIN UNCHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL ANNOUNCEMENT MADE AUGUST 15, 2000. For information, call the point of contact(s) identified above.
