Description

Notice that the General Services Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA 98310 intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with SoftQuest Corporation, One Selleck Street, Suite 320, Norwalk, CA 06855 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open COmpetition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001, SoftQuest will provide 16,500 InstallPump Enterprise Edition (part #SQ-10311). For CLIN 0002, SoftQuest will provide Annual Support for CLIN 0002 (part #SQ-3070). To the Governments knowledge, the manufacture of InstallPump is SoftQuest and is propriatary to SoftQuest. This request is considered to be sole source to SoftQuest therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by 4:00 p.m., PST, 09/05/00 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Numbered Note 1 and 22 apply.
