Description

The Library of Congress intends to issue delivery orders against an existing Basic Ordering Agreement to renew subscriptions with Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information (CISTI) for the continued use and access of their database system by the following FEDLINK member: DCIL. This subscription is for access to a source of scientific, technical, medical, and agricultural information, through CISTI'S online document delivery services. CISTI offers several ways to order documents from a collection of over 54,000 journal titles, conference proceedings, monographs, technical reports, and translations. CISTI's Link Supply and Global Supply provide documents in any subject area from anywhere in the world. CISTI also retrieves items from the British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC) via its Global Supply service. CISTI's electronic table of contents service, CISTISource Select tables, is a current awareness service that offers unlimited searching on a subscription basis of some 14,000 journals published worldwide. Clients can receive these tables of contents automatically via the CISTISource Select Service to stay abreast of the newest publications in their area of scientific or technical interest. Service will be continued through September 30, 2001. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. No telephone calls will be accepted. WRITTEN RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE PRICES AND TECHNICAL DATA SUFFICIENT TO DETERMINE CAPABILITY. No award will be based on any offer or proposal received in response to this notice. (See Note 22).
