Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order, utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (under FAR 13.5) to the Computer Merchant, 95 Longwater Circle, Norwell MA 02061 to provide on-site support for DEC/Alpha Open VMS Platform. Contractor should have extensive knowledge and experience with the following software products: Application Control and Management System, COBOL, CDL, DECset Tools, DECforms, Fortran, Intelligent Query, Oracle CDD/Repository, Oracle Rdb, Rdb Management Utility, PakManager, PKZIP-Alpha, SAS, SQL and Terminal Data Management System Emulator. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is past performance by the contractor which has provided knowledge of the application environment that cannot be replicated.
