On 7 March 2000 under Commerce Business Daily announcement number 431835, the synopsis for the A-76 Commercial Activities Study for Information Technology Services for Rock Island Arsenal was published. The Headquarters, Operations Support Command (Provisional), then known as Headquarters, Industrial Operations Command announced it intentions to solicit for offers under a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation number DAAA09-00-R-5047. On 25 August 2000, solicitation DAAA09-00-R-5047 was issued. This CBD announcement is intended to alert all interested parties as to the issuing of the solicitation.
