Description

Bidders offering other than brand name items identified herein must furnish with their bids adequate descriptive literature so that a determination can be made as to equality of the products offered. In order for the government to make an "or equal" determination of the offered product(s), the furnished information must delineate each applicable characteristic, unit of measure, and test method of the offered product(s) directly correlated to each of the requirements delineated in the item purchase description. Failure to furnish this information/literature will result in the bid being rejected as non-responsive or may be considered as unacceptable for award in a negotiated procurement (see GSAR Clause 552.221-70). A modified epoxy resin on a tight knit, polyester tricot carrier for bonding metal-to-metal and sandwich composite structures and having service temperatures from -67 to 300 degrees F and curing at 350 degrees F.
