Description

Lease and airtime for pagers for various locations on the islands of Oahu and Kauai. Services to include local coverage, island-wide coverage, national coverage, voice mail, message entry terminals and group call capabilities. Estimated quantity per month of 2800 digital pagers, 1600 alphanumberic pagers, and 50 nationwide pagers, 20 message entry terminals, airtime for 120 each digital pagers and 5 each alphanumeric pagers, neighbor island coverage for 62 pagers. Two customers use group calling. Response time to provide pager(s) for short and long term rental must be within four (4) hours. The contract performance is for the period 01 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 with one additional twelve month option period. The Government intends to include the clause 52.217-8 in the solicitation. The Government may elect to award a single delivery order contract or to award multiple delivery order contracts for the same or similar supplies or services to two or more sources under this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited using the procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and is being issued as a written Request for Quotations. Quotes must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 1:00 pm 12 September 2000. Quotes may be mailed, faxed or e-mailed.
