Description

The Patuxent River NAWC AD has a requirement to procure 1 ea box truck with the following specifications: Chevrolet box truck, Ford box truck or equivalent; wheelbase-159"; engine -- v-8 w/automatic transmission; power steering, air conditioning, power brakes, am/fm; sliding access door in bulkhead or inside cargo area that does not reduce pasenger compartment space; roll up rear door w/ step bumper; 10,000 lb trailer tow hitch; rooftop cargo area air conditioner unit (110 v w/ outside receptacle) (can be installed by customer if not available); pull out rear loading ramp; one piece fiberglass outer shell; white gelcoat finish; translucent, leak-proof skylight; dome light w/ cab switch; cargo interior can be slat construction, or tie downs if solid wall; flat floor in cargo area; 14 -- 15 foot interior length; radius front; receiver hitch w/ 4 prong trailer plug. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
