Description

NOTICE OF INTENT: Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Pulse Engineering. Requirement for CPSG/ZIME, Bldg. 2058, Kelly AFB, TX. There are four line items, line item 0001 Hayfield Multichip modle metacircuit. Pulse Engineering Part Number: PE000632. Line item 0002 Non Recurring Engineering(NRE) to redesign and produce the Hayfield metacircuit (Line item 0001)to use sockets for all integrated circuits. Line item 0003 Hayfield Multichip module host interface box. Pulse Engineering Part Number: PE000629. Line item 0004 Non Recurring Engineering(NRE) to redesign and produce the Hayfield host box (line item 0002) to use standard headers for connectors use to interface to the Hayfield metacircuit(line item 0001). Pulse Engineering designed these items and the only known source. Also they do not sell to distributors. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
