HIGH-POWER SIREN SYSTEM AND DIAGNOSTIC/PROGRAMMING KEYBOARD: THIS ACQUISITION IS PENDING AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS, AND THIS SOLICITATION IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES. This acquisition is set-aside for small business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Interested offerors are requested to submit a quotation on this requirement to: 314th Contracting Squadron, 642 Thomas Avenue, Little Rock AFB AR 72099-4971, or FAX to: (501) 987-8119. Award will be made based on technical evaluation and price, with technical evaluation being significantly more important than price. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://ccr2000.com) prior to receiving award. DESCRIPTION: Item 1. High-Power Siren Systems, three (3) each, brand name or equal, Whelen Engineering Co., Model Number WPS-2800-5. Item 2. Handheld Diagnostic/Programming Keyboard, one (1) each, brand name or equal, Whelen Engineering Co., Model Number MDK-864. Warranty required. FOB Destination Little Rock AFB, AR.
