Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0334 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is NOT set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19 and DCN 20000831. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3812 and the size standard is 750 employees. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 1 ea Radio Test Set (includes printer cable and manuals), IFR Americas, Inc. Item #S33160A2HP1, CLIN 0002 -- 1 ea W4 Cable, IFR Americas, Inc. Item #AAJ201-4, CLIN 0003 -- 1 ea TF-204A Bit Test Adapter, IFR Americas, Inc. Item #AAJ203, CLIN 0004 -- 1 ea LK-204 Lockout Key for RPM-002, IFR Americas, Inc. Item #AAJ204, CLIN 0005 -- 1 ea Rack Mount Kit, IFR Americas, Inc. Item #AAPS02, CLIN 0006 -- 1 ea LK-122 Lockout Key for RPM-001, IFR Americas, Inc. Item #AAJ105. This requirement is sole sourced to IFR Americas, Inc., Wichita, Kansas. This equipment must integrate in terms of form, fit, function, and compatibility with the AN/ARC-164 UHF Communications Radio. Delivery is required F.o.B. Destination within 90 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC, Crane. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
