Description

See numbered notes 1, 9, 13, and 26. This is a modification to submission number: 490466 dated August 25, 2000. The reason for this modification was to include the NSN in the presolicitation notice, in addition the MIL spec date was not included and the last award date was updated from 1996 to 1997. This request for RFQ is for Carrying Cover, Purlin, NSN 8340-00-556-9671 which shall be manufactured in accordance with Specification number MIL-T-43492C dated 8/20/87. The last award price was $24.89 and that was dated 1997. DSCP will require a quantity of 1593 Purlins within this purchase order. There will be two deliveries 180 days after the date of award. Destinations are Defense Distribution Depot Barstow, CA and Albany, GA. All materials will be furnished by the awardee. FAR Part 12 procedures will not be used.This RFQ will be a total small business set-aside. The estimated RFQ is 9/11/00. All responsible sources may submit a bid which DSCP shall consider.
