Description

The Immigration and Naturalization Service intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price supplies, commercial contract to Buck Knives, INC. This contract will provide Deputy 1 Knife, MDL# 180L with the following accessories: Seat belt cutter, and screwdriver and a drop-point blade not serrated with metal pocket clip. No sheath with rubberized handle for sure grip, and safety tool. The Drop point blade will be etched as requested on the Delivery Order. The knife shall be corrosion resistant, for stowage (no inadvertent contact), access, and use. The knife's exterior should be non-reflective and have color that prevents easy detection. It should be easy to maintain with limited support equipment. Warranty shall be that which the contractor normally offers. The term of the contract shall be for one year plus two one-year options. Delivery shall be FOB Destination within the contiguous United States. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
