Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division has been tasked by the Naval Sea Systems Command to continue to enhance its submarine maneuvering simulation capability. For these services, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. SAIC has been involved in a significant number of the NAVSEA hydrodynamic and system architecture development programs over the last 15 years and possess unique knowledge and experience with dynamic simulation, submarine hydrodynamics, and software system architecture development. Interested parties may submit a statement of capabilities within 15 calendar days from the date of this notice. (see numbered Note 22)
