- Description
- The General Services Administration, Federal Technology Service, Region 8, Denver and its Client, Department of the Air Force, United States Air Force Academy, intend to procure on a Sole Source basis from Systems Design Group Inc., 312 S. Weber Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903, (719) 442-2699, Mark Stenicka, the following services: Maintenance of existing software modules, continued development of additional modules if impact to mission has been determined to include interfaces and upgrades to existing code, system integration and consulting. Conversion from Progress to Oracle of existing modules in a phased approach for the 34th Training Wing. Maintenance shall be provided for existing Cadet Leisure Activities Support System (CLASS), the Inventory Management System (IMS), computerized garment storage system, Falcon Card Production System, all transaction devices, VIAVOICE voice recognition software, Asset Management System, Parking Management System, Intermec software, Tailor Shop Support System (TASS), Key Control System, Ticket Master and Ticket Issuance and UPS Notification System software. It will also include maintenance of all new modules after development and upgrades developed within the scope of this PWS. Maintenance will also cover software warranty work, which is described as any work done on an upgrade or newly developed module for 90 days after acceptance by the government. For warranty work, there will be no charge to the government. The contractor shall provide system design, engineering analysis, implementation, and training in development of software exploiting bar code and microchip technology in support of the 34th Training Wing. All software system designs shall be addressed in documentation which shall become the property of the government. The contractor shall, when requested, upgrade existing modules to CLASS, IMS, transaction devices software, and additional areas developed as a result of this PWS. Upgrade also includes changes requested as a result of advances in technology or changes that are beyond our control; i.e., directed reorganization, program design changes to other programs (e.g., CAMIS, JUMPS, etc.). Contractor will be required to interface all current modules and devices; i.e., IMS, CLASS, Intermec, CAMIS, JUMPS, USAFANet, Radio Frequency (RF), and any other modules developed as a result of this PWS. This is not a formal solicitation. However, concerns that respond should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities and may request a copy of the solicitation when it becomes available. All information is to be furnished at no cost or obligation to the government.
