Description

To provide dockside repairs to the NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN. Repair items include, but are not limited to: Ventilation cleaning, cleaning fuel tanks, whistle repair, main propulsion motor bearings, louver and damper repairs, electrical modification, and weight test. The ship will be available for ship inspection in San Diego, CA on or about October 10-12, 2000. Expected period of performance is November 27 -- December 29, 2000. Place of performance is Seattle, Washington. Following are vessel characteristics of the NOAA Ship RONALD H. BROWN: overall length -- 274 feet; beam, molded -- 52.6 feet; draft, design -- 17 feet; draft, navigational -- 19 feet; depth to main deck -- 26.6 feet; displacement (FL) -- 3,250 LT; displacement (LS) -- 2100 LT; Gross Tonnage -- 3180 G.T. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
